Mission Aviation Makes for Exciting Chapel at WCS

Chapel is a weekly highlight at Wooster Christian School.  Students gather to worship through music and dig in to God’s Word, usually with a special guest speaker.  On Friday, September 25, we had the privilege of hosting representatives from “Missions at the Airport,” an event held to raise awareness of the field of missionary aviation.  The event, sponsored by Preferred Airparts in Kidron, is held every three years and includes presentations by members of JAARS, or Jungle Aviation and Radio Service.

As part of their visit to Wooster Christian School, JAARS landed one of their helicopters at the school.  Students had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the helicopter.  We also heard from aviation missionaries about how aviation is used to further the Word of God in remote areas of the earth.  What an awesome reminder that we can use our gifts, whatever they may be, to serve the Lord.
