Mrs. Joyce Atkins

Mrs. Joyce Atkins has been at WCS for 9 years.  She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Grace College.  Mrs. Atkins' other teaching experiences include:  Teaching Pre-K, 1st Grade, 4th Grade, 5th-6th Combination, and Substitute Teaching K-8th Grade. 

She is a native of Warsaw, Indiana.  She attends Wooster Grace Brethren Church.  Her husband, Dave is Executive Director of Asia's Hope.   She has two children, Josh and Amanda.  Josh is a Grace College graduate and is now working as the Junior High Director at WGBC.  This past summer he married Amber Atkins, who also teaches at WCS.  Amanda is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute and is now working at Care for Kids as a pre-school caregiver.

Mrs. Atkins' favorite subject to teach is Ancient Egypt and China.  "I love getting students involved in projects."
