Mrs. Karen Masowich


Mrs. Karen Masowich has been teaching full-time at WCS for 8 years; 5 years teaching 3rd grade and 3 years teaching middle school.  She has a B.A. in Education (K-8) from Bowling Green State University.  Mrs. Masowich was also a part-time music teacher at WCS for 7 years.  Other teaching experiences include teaching reading, English, and art at Northwestern Junior High.

 Week of April 21

Grade 5

Students who did not do well on last week's test need to write List 18 by hand one time each day.  Tests are now on Thursday and include 3 dictation sentences. 

Next week all 6-8 graders will be gone for special field trips from Monday-Wednesday.  I will be teaching the fifth graders in all subject matter those 3 days.

Grades 5 and 6

Students are learning to classify and diagram predicate nominatives and predicate adjectives.  They will also learn how to effectively incorporate these into their own writing.

Grades 7 and 8

Songs are due this week.

We continue to read the incredible story of Corrie tenBoom in The Hiding Place.
